Growing up as one of five children in a large family, the filmmaker knows constant chaos all too well. Yet disorder is not necessarily a disadvantage.

The film embarks on a personal search for order and disorder, leading through encounters with people from different fields of life. Religion, science, music, and medicine open up diverse perspectives on a topic that profoundly shapes our lives.

The film shows that order is not an objective state, but an individual attitude. It emerges from personal experiences, beliefs, and living conditions, and reaches far beyond the private sphere.
