Why this page exists

Red Monster e.U. is a microenterprise and, as a service provider, exempt from the Austrian Accessibility Act. We publish this statement voluntarily.

A skip link at the top of every page leads straight to the content.
The keyboard focus is clearly visible.
All images have alternative text.
Every page has exactly one main heading, and the heading structure is logical. One exception is listed below.
Navigation areas are named and distinguishable for screen readers.
The language of every page is declared, German and English.
There is no autoplaying video, no flashing content and no time limits.
E-mail addresses are encoded against spam robots. They remain fully readable for screen readers.

Some of the support — the skip link, the marking of the content area and a few headings — is applied via JavaScript. Without JavaScript enabled, these are missing.
The content area is marked with role=”main” rather than a native main element. Equivalent for screen readers, not ideal technically.
The site has not been formally audited against WCAG 2.2. A full keyboard walkthrough, contrast measurement and screen reader testing are still outstanding.
The Co-productions page has no main heading, and its heading levels skip. This will be fixed when that page is rebuilt.
On the Films and News overview pages, the main heading is followed directly by third-level headings. This comes from the theme.
Embedded third party content such as maps follows that provider’s accessibility, over which we have no control.
