We spend a third of our human life sleeping. Restful sleep is the requirement for psychological balance, but verifiably also promotes our creativity. Sleep and our dreams have always been a mystery to us and appear as popular images in philosophy, art, and culture. The TV documentary ‘Sleep – death’s little brother’ explores these themes and embeds them, primarily from a philosophical angle, in societal changes. The documentary includes viewpoints by philosophers, artists, and experts in related disciplines.
