The Sleep. The Little Brother of Death
Documentary Film
2023 · 52 min · AT

We spend nearly one third of our lives asleep. Restful sleep is essential for psychological balance and profoundly shapes how we think, feel, and act.
The film approaches sleep from a philosophical perspective, interweaving scientific, cultural, and social viewpoints. Philosophers, artists, and experts from different disciplines offer a multifaceted look at a state that defines our existence while resisting complete explanation.
All is one. In sleep, the soul is undisturbed and absorbed into this unity. In waking life, it is distracted and perceives the many forms of the world.
