Dying 2.0

Our society is in a state of change, which also affects the way we deal with death. The spiritual question of what comes after death is giving way to practical considerations, such as how we deal with our own mortality and what we want to leave behind for posterity. What will remain of me? Not only in terms of my physical body, but also virtually? The documentary “Dying 2.0 – The New Way of Dealing with Death” focusses on the need for spirituality outside of the traditional church tradition. Experts in philosophy, social and cultural anthropology, and theology discuss the impact of the trend towards individualism and self-presentation on our perceptions of our own transience.
